MulkearLIFE’s work with Sea Lamprey featured in Michael Viney’s excellent “Another Life” in this weekend’s (16 June 2012) Irish Times. Michael Viney has been documenting Irish nature and related matters in his highly regarded column “Another Life” in The Irish Times on a weekly basis since 1977. This week’s “Another Life” on Sea Lamprey ran with the apt title ‘A jaw-dropping sight, but in the best possible taste’.

The column also included a wonderful colour drawing of adult sea lamprey by Michael Viney. The article highlighted the importance of the protection of sea lamprey and how MulkearLIFE’s work is helping to restore habitat not only for sea lamprey but for Atlantic Salmon and Otter.
