Weather permitting, the next outing of the Mulkear Conservation Volunteers (MCV) will take place on Saturday week, 22 February 2014, from 10.00 to 13.00.

The practical conservation work will focus on riparian management work and the installation of dipper boxes and other bird nesting boxes at various High Nature Value (HNV) and High Amenity Value sites along the Mulkear River.
The fieldwork may also include the installation of an otter holt, tree planting and a general clean up of sites. The conservation outing will also include a discussion on habitat creation.

Lifts will be available from the IFI Office, Dock Rd @ 9.30 (sharp). But please make contact to arrange such lifts.
