The next Mulkear Conservation Volunteer outing will take place this coming Saturday, 20th October 2012, from 10.00 to 13.00hrs. The outing will be a repeat visit to Bilboa Bridge to continue with ongoing practical conservation work on site.

We hope to place additional film clips which Murroe News have done on MulkearLIFE and the Mulkear Conservation Volunteers on the project website and MulkearLIFE’s YouTube channel in due course.
In order to organise numbers for Saturday’s outing please let us know by Friday 19th October 2012 (midday) if you are in a position to attend. Please bring appropriate clothing and footware. MulkearLIFE will supply all other equipment incl. spades, tools, bags, etc. Please note that lifts can be arranged from Limerick or Annacotty but please make contact with MulkearLIFE before the event to arrange a lift.

This practical conservation outing will be a repeat visit to Bilboa Bridge. The work will include the opening of the existing pathways and removal of brashings and the removal on NNIS plant species (Pheasant Berry) in the riparian zone. The erection of dipper boxes and tree planting will also form part of the outing.
