MulkearLIFE to present at LIFE+ Seminar, Dublin, Friday, 15 February 2013
As in recent years, the European Commission’s LIFE Programme will publish a new call for LIFE+ proposals. This is likely to take place in the first half of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU – most likely in February 2013. The Call will relate to the provision of hundreds of millions of euro for co-financing of LIFE+ projects across Europe. Ireland’s allocation for 2013 is likely to be in the region of €4m, subject to suitable projects being submitted and approved. Funding will likely be made available under Nature and Biodiversity; Environment Policy and Governance; and Information and Communication. The call will include full details and conditions regarding the submission of applications and deadlines. Guidelines and applications forms for the 2013 Call for LIFE+ proposals will be on the following website LIFE

The presentation will focus on the work of Inland Fisheries Ireland as coordinating project partner, and the work of the two main associated project partners, the Office of Public Works and Limerick County Council and the project’s main co-financer, the National Parks & Wildlife Service.
