The Black Swan was filled with members of the Annacotty Tidy Towns Committee, local residents, representatives from St. Vincents and well-wishers. A representative of the JP McManus Charitable Foundation formally handed over the cheque to the Committee amid great celebration. MulkearLIFE was delighted to partake in the celebrations. The Project offered its congratulations to all involved in the ‘Going For Gold’ campaign. MulkearLIFE looks forward to working closely with the Annacotty Tidy Towns Committee in the months ahead in progressing plans to enhance the riparian habitat along the Mulkear River.

The award is a wonderful endorsement of the work of people in the village of Annacotty and what the Mulkear River has to offer to the people of the area. MulkearLIFE looks forward to building on the exceptional partnership between MulkearLIFE/ Inland Fisheries Ireland and the Tidy Towns Committee and the Mulkear Conservation Volunteers.
